A tradition founded by Rod Khleif in Sarasota, Fl in 2001, the Tiny Hands Foundation has annually fed thousands of needy families over the years during the Thanksgiving holiday. In 2006 Rod Khleif paid for and organized this remarkable Basket Brigade by filling and delivering 800 baskets filled with everything imaginable for a Thanksgiving feast to needy families. The baskets included everything from a ten dollar gift card for a turkey, which recipients could pick up from their local Wal-Mart to two brand new stuffed animals for the children. Rod Khleif has always believed in the power and magnificence of giving back and continuously compassionately shares his blessings with others.

However, Rod Khleif isn’t stopping here. Rod Khleif is committed to doubling the number of recipients to 1600 this year and intends to double the number every year! Mr. Khleif is not only a “bighearted” man but also very humble and is always quick to point out, “none of this would be at all possible without all of those who so willingly volunteer their time to help pack, decorate and deliver these baskets to families all over Sarasota, Fl.” What began six years ago on a whim while sitting around with his brothers watching a football game in Denver, CO during Thanksgiving in 2000 has now turned into a magnificent annual tradition. A tradition Sarasota's residents describe as an event that brings the community together in an effort to ensure that all families in Sarasota have a Thanksgiving to remember.

One would think that Rod Khleif would be satisfied with feeding thousands of families for Thanksgiving but this incredible, philanthropist has big plans in store for the Tiny Hands Foundation. Rod Khleif plans to expand The Tiny Hands Foundation to encompass not only feeding needy families during the holidays, but also to one day soon live his ultimate vision for the foundation. Rod Khleif plans to evolve this outstanding foundation to implement long-term initiatives which will empower children-in-need to break free from the cycles of poverty. Rod Khleif is also fervently committed to establishing educational programs for children all around the world. His vision is to see these programs implemented in schools as part of the core curriculum to teach children the much needed importance of health, emotional mastery, relationships and financial mastery.
